My name is Raya Budrevich and the reason Outdoor School is important to me is I grew up in a country where there were many outdoor opportunities throughout the year provided by the school system and also by a scout-like organization.
And, [when] we do things [now] ourselves as scouts with my kids, I suddenly have flashbacks to my childhood: “Oh, I remember when we took big sticks and lashed them together and built a structure.”
